The Run for Bob Family Fun 5K Run/Walk was organized in October of 2005, in honor of Bob Biagiotti who passed away suddenly in July of 2005 at the age of 42, and has since become an annual event.
Some of Bob’s finest attributes were a commitment to charity, sportsmanship, and kindness to all. Bob’s happiest times were spent competing in 5K races while pushing Kayla in her special racing stroller with his wife, Kris and his brother, Rick, running along side.
Two wonderful charities benefit from the event: the Bernon Family YMCA Reach Out for Youth and Families program, and the Best Buddies Franklin Chapter. Both organizations have played special roles in the lives of Bob, his wife Kris, and daughter Kayla.
Please take part in honoring Bob’s life by participating in this event, and help raise funds for these two charities. Participation is open to all ages. The first 300 registered participants receive a FREE Tshirt. This family event features children’s activities, FREE refreshments, raffle prizes and more!
